CAPTCHA Always Showing
The CAPTCHA appears on every visit, even for normal users. Here are the common causes.
Challenge Mode set to 'always'
Go to Dashboard → API Key → Security → Challenge Mode. Change it from 'always' to 'suspicious' (the default).
Bot threshold too high
A high bot threshold (e.g., 0.8) means most users are flagged. Lower it to 0.3 (default) under Security Policy.
VPN or proxy
Users on VPNs or corporate proxies may have IP addresses with a bad reputation. This is expected behavior.
Browser extensions
Privacy-focused extensions can alter browser behavior in ways that trigger bot detection. This affects a small percentage of users.
Headless browsers
Automated browsers (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium) are always detected as bots. This is by design.
