How we count requests
A request is every form submission the widget reports and every verification through our API. A submission that your server also verifies therefore counts twice. Page views do not count.
If SilentShield also gives a visitor a challenge, up to 2 more requests are added for it. A submission that the server also checks therefore costs up to 2 requests – up to 4 with a challenge.
Once the monthly quota is reached, further requests are no longer checked but pass through unprotected – your forms are then not protected until the first of the month, but there are no extra charges. We notify you by email at 80, 90 and 100% and then ask you to change your plan, which restores protection immediately. The quota starts again on the first of the month.
Example calculations (assumptions, 30 days)
- Contact form on a small website (5 a day): 150 submissions a month = 300 requests with server verification → Basic
- Shop with contact and registration forms (60 a day): 1,800 submissions a month = 3,600 requests with server verification → Basic
- Agency with five client sites (200 a day in total): 6,000 submissions a month = 12,000 requests with server verification → Business
